I'm working on my first driving freestyle (done riding ones many times). In regular dressage, the time starts when the horse moves off from the first halt and finishes at the second halt.
The ADS rulebook says the time will start when the Judge indicates. How do I know when that will be?
I'm driving a VSE and the entry form says it will be in a 40m X 80 m arena. I can organize my drive to be smaller within that ring because I can't get everything done required within 3 minutes.
Anyone know when the timing usually start? It takes me 25 seconds just to enter at A, go to X, halt and salute before I move off again,
