I have a gaited horse also! I inherited my mom's Foxtrotter. She passed away last year and she wanted me to take her mare. I have been out of big horses for about 10 years (owned and trained QH's for over 30 years) and have only had my minis. So, now I have one of each, I drive my little guy...

Electrabraid is the way to go! Easy to install and horses totally respect it. I also used 4 strands and followed the manufacture method of installation.
