My foal that I have been hand feeding has been put back with its mum this afternoon.
9 nearly 10 days after foaling the milk has just been starting to come in! YAHOO!!!!!
I weaned the foal at 4 days (vets advice) and have been keeping a close eye on the mare and this afternoon it started!
I think I will still have to supplement the foal but at least I can now put it back outside with its mum!!
