Well I clip when I need to, for show or sale, but if the temps are going to be below 50 at night I keep them in and blanket. I would prefer the temps to be in the high 50's or 60's at night to leave them out. right now our temps are up and down, so my sale horses are in the indoor where it is warm, they were clipped the first time three weeks ago, and I'm getting ready to rebath and clip again to get a good finish before I take them to Champions of Champions. It is raining here now, so I'm waiting till Thurs. I like to bath and put them in the sun to dry.
