What's the difference?

Hey pony people, please explain to this beginner what the difference is between "Classic", "Modern" and "Foundation". Pictures would be nice too. I'm a visual person.

There are people here who can explain it better than me, but the basic idea is that bloodline and confomation type are both involved to determine which catagory a pony fits into for registration and showing.
