Dinda,

I am so very sorry.

These words were my greatest comfort when we lost our son, Kerry - may they help you in even some small way:

"Those Who Live In The Lord Never See Each Other For The Last Time"

Hugs and prayers for you as you mourn the loss of your very special husband.

MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU.I AM SO GLAD YOU HAD SPECIAL TIME TOGETHER,YOU WILL HOLD THIS TIME VERY CLOSE TO YOUR HEART.HUGS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU THAT YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS.

I just felt I should share with everyone how unbelievable his funeral was. He was a criminal investigator for 33 years and all aspects of law enforcement escorted the hearse to the cemetary. There was an officer to salute us at each turn. I just couldn't believe it. The escort of police vehicles and lights were about 40 cars. It was like the presidents funeral. He is in a cemetary right around the corner on my dirt road. My daughter is here with me still and plans to stay for a week or so. Today was a busy day. I learned to work the lawn mower and cut the grass and then she taught me how to do the tractor. We got the yards all clean and took off some limbs that had fallen in a storm while I was away at the hospital. At different times during the day it will just hit me and I will tear up. I cry when I read cards from people. I had no idea so many people cared about me. I don't have a clue what I am going to do. I am just taking it a day at a time. My daughter and I are going to church together in the morning. Thanks for all your condolences. It is really touching that so many people care. Jimmy and I were so private and hung out together all the time. I had no idea anyone was watching. Thanks again, Dinda
