What are these "Cool" classes?

Didn't see any listed at our first show; but our club's show has one "cool" halter class and I see the Congress has several of them; halter and performance. What are they? They sound like something the preteens and teens thought up. ????

They are the PMC classes. They changed it from PMC to calling it COOL which stands for "Conquering Obstacles Overcoming Limitations"

Physically Mentally Challenged, I believe. (in other words, those who have greater challenges to overcome).
