What is safe?

If you were looking at a mare and foal (2mths old) to bring home and they didnt have any needles what would

you get done?

Need opinions on what to do they are both in good health.

In our area last year there was a case of West Nile.

My horses get rabies, west nile, prestige5.

If I get them they will be going to shows.

Nothing to the foal before 4 months.

The mare when she gets her needles will it affect the foal at all?

Is that what covers the foal?

I can do the mare as soon as possible then.

Same as Dr Taylor said. Nothing for the foal till 4 months. Your regular vaccinations for the mare.

Won't bother the foal.

No, it won't cover the foal. But vaccinating the foal won't help now and could hurt.
