There's a huge difference, depending out what companies you go with. I just got some for 600 miles, most were around $400. I didn't think that was to bad.

I just shipped a mare right at 300 miles for $120. The owner is located here in Texas around the Austin area. She did have two minis that she was bringing this way also. So that helped her make such a great deal.

My most pricy was 2 thou from Rhode lsland to my area...not as bad as the almost 5 thou for the big horse that stayed here overnight for a break from hauling from down there up to Alaska...
