Hi Everyone. Hope you are doing well! Im sorry Mary Lou if this is against the rules, feel free to delete if it is.

if Youre Favorite movie was the truman show and you watch the dog wisperer regularly, this will be fun winter entertianment.

My problem, I am a schemer. I get grand ideas in my head but never the money or guts to do it. Well here I go. I got lucky on the gift exchange! Graet Job by the way Reo!

My boyfriend, who has trained 4 labs, about laughed when I told him I wanted to be a dog trainer. I had recently fallen in love with a 2 yr old chocolate lab. Who ironicaly, was gotten FOR him. She just took to me. I am a cat lover, never trained a dog, but have animals in my background, professionally and at home. So I thought and schemed. There had to be a way to prove to him I can do it. Then came this contest idea. Hed get the lab I woulnd never agree too, and I would train my dog my way, which is better, and have a better dog at the end. Cool, he fell for it. So I got this grand idea, lets see just how BIG I can make this. Ever want your own t.v show? Well, not untill recently for me. There is my reputation at stake here, not just as a dog trainer, but as a woman, and as some of you know, with my former family.

So how do I get that fame? YOU! All I need is for my name to get to the right person, and through you, I will know them. So please go to www.myspace.com. Search for [email protected], find our page, add us if you have an account yourself, follow along a bit. Spend a few days reading my daily blog and diary, and if you think its worth a crap, ask someone to look at it. Tell someone about it. Through this international NET free at my disposal, go Hippies, you rock! I am poor as a church mouse, so its up to you to spread the word. I know there are dog lovers here! Rally behind my team to train this dog! If I do this, at the end, I can proudly make others eat my dust!

Hoe all of you are having fun with the Swap, Santa cant find me this year!!!!!! LOL LOL

OK so you would like to be a famous tv dog trainer. Dog training is good!

For me to recommend anyone, I'd need to see proof and lots of it.

How about making some YouTubes of you training a variety of dogs?

That could be lots of fun.

There's so much more to learn about dog training than you'll ever see on any of Cesar's shows. He can be fun to watch (if you don't know how to read the stress signals the dogs he works with are often giving off), but his techniques are seriously flawed and outdated. I hope you'll take the time to learn how to train a dog without the need for collar pops, neck grabs and alpha rolls a la "The Dog Whisperer," even knowing that your chances of nabbing your own TV show as a dog trainer are slim. There are already many people out there who we'll never see on TV even though they are more skilled and accomplished with dogs than Cesar, but that shouldn't stop you from wanting to be the best dog trainer you can be.

Got to question......not to pop any bubble, but -- what happens to the dog(s) after they are trained?

So how do I get that fame?
As someone that has raised and showed dogs for over 40 years let me tell you that training a dog that only you and your boyfriend see does not make you a trainer.

If you want fame you have to put years of work in and have people SEE the results of your work time and time again. Fame in dog training does not come from people reading a blog.
