"Sure-Measure" Horse and Pony Height & Weight Tape

I purchased this measuring tape from Mini-tack.com

Has anyone here used it before & know if it is accurate? I just learned that I could have used a standard measuring tape. BUT! If this measuring tape is ideed accurate, then what a deal and a time saver!

I'm not sure what brand my weight tape is but I found it to be at most 50 lbs off.

Yikes! So, I would like to test this with a normal measuring tape.... What are the directions with just a standard measuring tape?

My best advice is ask your vet if you could weigh your horses on the scale and see exactly what you have. Thats what I experienced and realized that I was weighing my horses by 50 lbs too much with the weight tape. It still good to have though. Sorry, have no experience with the measuring tape.
