Another thing, how high can you jump them at this age?
NO JUMPING! Way way WAY to young. I would wait untill he was 3+ yrs old, right now you can walk them over poles on the ground (no jumping them). I just lay poles on the ground and walk Harley (almost a yr old) over them so he gets use to going over stuff ..absolutely no jumping yet!

Around 2.5yrs old you can start harness work and ground driving, long reining and all that. Then around 3yrs old you can start them in the cart.

What im doing with my young colt, Harley, who is almost a yr old right now is leading him and teaching him voice commands and ground manners. We walk over some poles once a week sometimes if we have any extra time.

Deffently though, stop jumping him ..you will mess up his knees and you do not want that.
