I am currently dealing with "Slow Onset Laminitis" in one (good outlook, caught it early) and possibly 2 horses that the ONLY change has been the slow addition of a new feed that has been discussed on this board. I have only fed it to 3 horses, (thankfully) slowly changing them over to it and 1 definatly is laminatic (sp) and possibly another is, she is only slightly footsore. She should be fine also.
Neither of these horses is "lame". They are slighly "ouchy" on hard surfaces or tight turns.
If you want to know what feed it is, feel free to email or PM me.
But just for education, everyone needs to know that Laminitis/Founder does not mean they are suddenly dead lame. It can sneak up on you.
