Sam’s Town Show Down X’s Three - May 25th, 26th, & 27th, 2007
Hello Exhibitors,
I am so excited to tell you about this upcoming show.... Preparation for it has been a little stressful but exciting, as this is going to be a great “3 judge†showing weekend! I want to take some of your time to tell you what the show is all about!
First, the facility is a state of the art facility and the people there have been wonderful to work with…. This Expo host two large arena’s… We will be in the covered arena within the area of the stalls and RV spots. How convenient is that to be able to have your stalls ringside and your RV also… Some of the RV spots are at the end of the stall rows… with a total of 70 RV spot on the grounds. The stalling area is very nice with drop electric over the stalls, all stalls are matted and the aisle ways are wide. Plenty of wash racks and convenient restrooms with shower. The check in and show office will be ring side….
This show will offer 377 classes for the Mini’s, Shetlands, ASPR’s, the classes have been split by size. I think when you see the schedule you will realize we didn’t leave anyone out….
Saturday night you will not want to miss, as it will be history in the making…. I can assure you that no other show has offered an exhibitor party like the one we are going to have……. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT has been secured. We will shut down the show to introduce our entertainment guests then resume Liberty classes. Let me assure you the entertainment guests will stay the evening with us….
The party setting will include party buffet, so come with your appetites. The facility is not against alcoholic beverages as long as not for resale -- so you’re welcome to bring your own cooler of refreshments. Please remember that we all have to be responsible, so please appoint your designated walker/rider/driver?
As you know the theme for this show is a Casino / Western Type.. So we plan to decorate accordingly.
I have ordered a neat game called LCR that I think will be a blast anytime you and a few others feel like sitting down at the game table…. I will even provide the first roll of nickel’s to get started… I played this game the other night with some friends, I lost my socks with my nickels but I had a heck a lot of fun doing it.
We have secured a few nice Champion Show Coolers for some of the classes and Trophies for the some of the youth classes……… We don’t have the budget to trophy every class but I am trying to hard to have a nice presentation of awards throughout the show. Double TT tack will be there and with the Exhibitor Awards program, you can use your ribbons you earned towards tack purchases……. Now isn’t that neat??
We have secured the following vendors, Hoss Clipper House, Double TT, Monkey Doodles Shaved Ice and a food concession stand throughout the show weekend. Also we do have a Show Photographer – Jack Wilkins.
As you know this show is host to three judges, with two of the judges selected to judge for the National Miniature Show and The Congress 2007… So please if you want to have these judges see some of your finest headed for the national shows - be sure you have them on the trailer.
The show schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday…. Move-in on Thursday and if you’re out by Monday morning at 9:00 AM -- no charge for Sunday night stalling… So for those of you who are not going to head out Sunday afternoon -- your welcome to stay over at no extra charge for stalls. RV’s -- will have to pay that extra night….
