Does anyone have a pattern they could share? Any pictures of yours? I do much better with a visual!! LOL!! I just need a general idea how to start and I can play with it from there.

Thanks!

Do a google search and you'll find tons of patterns for Fat Quarters and jelly rolls, don't know how many you'll find for a combination of both. Don't think I've ever put both together in a quilt.

Here's a Yellow Brick Road quilt I made awhile ago, its a FQ pattern:

The borders were just fabric I had in my stash.

Here's a quilt I made with a jelly roll, its called "Jelly Roll Race" (directions can be found on-line):

Rail Fence blocks can be made from jelly rolls, and there are lots of patterns that use Rail Fence blocks. Log Cabin blocks.

Here are photos of a lap quilt I made from Jelly Roll material and Charm Squares.

And a purse that I made from the same Jelly Roll and matching material.

One thing that I don't like about Jelly Rolls and Charm Squares is that you can't prewash (pre-shrink) the material before you sew it together. Other than that it is nice to work with.

Have fun!

Very pretty, Lois. [i don't prewash anything. I like the crisp new fabric (I don't like starch, so wouldn't pre-wash and then starch to get the crispness back).]

I did do a search! LOL! And the ideas were crazy endless!! LOL!! Thank you all! I just needed a direction but I'm still not sure... maybe I'll just stash them for a while until i get a clear vision.
