What are some of the pet names or nicknames you all have for your pets?

Here are some of mine:

Winston (shih-tzu) -- Baby Bear, Winston Jay, Fair Haired Bear, Big Boy, Biggie Fry

Willow (shih-tzu) -- WEE-low, Beanie Weenie

Whitney (shih-tzu) -- Hooper, Super Snot

Kelsey (blue merle colle) -- Blue Tiger, Tiggy, Teegan, Teegger

Then some of the horses:

DunIT -- Baby D, Little D

Bacardi -- Smarty Bacardi

Sunny -- Sunny Dee

Derby -- Derby Doodle

Eclipse -- Clipsy

Firefly -- Firefry

Rocket -- Rocket Man

Lou -- LouLou

Funny thing is they all know their "real" names and their fun names, too!

Our "R" mini Black Magic is a very fierce ans loving mini. I used to admire Joe D'Maggio because his love for Marilyn Monroe is legandary, so we call Magic .... Maggio... or D'Maggio sometimes.

Tonto our little bay mini stallion is sometimes rotten to his younger brother, so we call him Ronto when he's trying to be mean to his little brother.

Lanita, our mini mare from Mark and Linda Kern (thank you guys for selling her to us), always looks such the lady and has that gorgeous flaxen mane, so we call her Lanita Bonita..... or Little Girl.

Pressa, our QH we call "BIG GIRL"... compared to a mini, she's hugh... even at just around 14.3 hands. She is a spoiled brat and likes to be called "Princess" too.

Silver Dollar a bay silver dapple is a sweetie, but he's always finding something to get himself in trouble doing. Our daughter, who had a speech problem when he broght him home, couldn't say the letter "S" well. So Silver turned into Bilers. He sort of reminds me of Dilbert in the comics, and so our son calls him Bilver Dilbers.....

Hank (the shetland sheepdog) is a few cans sort of a six pack. Mom used to raise Shelties, and they are very bright dogs... well, we found the exception. Our son, always teases Hank and says if he doesn't stop chasing the minis, he's gonna have to get a spanking... (which no one would ever hit an animal around here). so the kids call him Hanky Spanky. He loves to dig under fences. The kids catch him and yell.. "Ut Oh, Daddy's gonna give you a spanking when he gets home". (Hubby is never home, he's on a boat most of the year.

Cinderella... the princess cat... who loves to beat up on our Sheltie as a hobby. The kids tell her to "Mind her manners".... So she gets CInda Minda...

Snoy the goat... gets "Noooooooooooooooooooooy!" (as she's climbing on the car...) and Cocoa the goat gets Cocoa Loco...

God Bless,

Lynn W

Both my dogs will answer to any of those names, they know they are in trouble if I use their real names.

My cat's name is Gabbie - but hubby calls her KittyB_tch because she won't stay off his new truck.

Not very imaginative these days:

Gramma Pony (she was always known as this here, but we found out three years ago that her real name was Dell Tera's Betty) is "Grammy" or "GrammaP" or "PoPo".

Lark is just Lark but sometimes she's "Lard" or my son calls her "Pork Rind Jr." even though she's not fat nor is she big boned. *LOL*

Lailah is "LAILAH!" just like the song of the same name (aka the chorus where Clapton sorta screeches it *LOL*) My son calls her Pork Rind.

Bella is just Bella right now but she has some pretty colorful "pet" names due to her silly attitude.

Kyan is Mr. Curly Pants (ask the Crabby Chickens about that one).

Mouse is just Mousey or Carson. (ask Bonnie about that).

Cherry Bomb is "CB" or "Bomber" or "Cherry"

We don't have a doggie anymore but we have a kitty w/multiple names due to not choosing just "one" and letting the two and four year old pick the name: "Deagle" was her first name given to her by my then one year old son Colton and "Girl Cat" by my then three year old son.

That's about it for us!

Liz
