NICE AWARD for my Race Mare

I was excited today to read in my mares lifetime record, that she was awarded the 2008 Northwest High Point Aged Mare title..............that is BIG for me for sure.

Gosh I was so excited over that and hten she was claimed in her race today.......................oh well best of luck Chivato.

That's too bad, sounds like she was a great mare. But it's a chance you take!

Ruffian, you are SOOOO right. We know the consequences of running claiming races. What is funny is that so many people know them but HATE THEM. My wife and I are very much under the understanding together that we will take the risk. We just always run them higher than what we claim/pay for them so we don't lose money. Heck overall this mare made 5k for us ABOVE the 5k we got paid for her today.
