New Filly in the world!

This is Ebony, a maiden mare with her first foal, "Windy"! It was a little struggle getting her out, as she had a bent foreleg, but Ebony trusted me to help her and stood up for me to rearrange the filly. Windy is a sassy little bundle - I love it when things go well!

I have heard of three mares just this past week that lost their foals.

It's always heartbreaking to wait and wait and then....

I also have a maiden mare due to foal in May, my sleeplessness nights

are coming. LOL
