New Filly at Knee Hi Acres

Hi All,

Parmela came to visit me this afternoon and was so impressed with our new baby, so I thought I'd post her and share here too. She was born Tuesday morning at 6:30 am. These photos do not do her justice and was taken about 30 minutes after she was born. She is marked nearly identical on both sides, VERY loud sorrel pinto, has one blue eye, one brown eye.

As some of you remember, we had an extremely bad foaling season last year due to an exotic ram getting into our pasture and injuring several of our horses. I was extremely relieved for this foaling season to start out on such a higher note!

Although, you're right, those pictures don't do Blossom justice! Her head is beautiful in person - such a tiny muzzle, short nose and then that wide blaze!!

But you better put a brick on her back or you're gonna have a giraffe!! She's got legs for days!!!
