I am tickled to death, my red & white pintoloosa had a little filly around 10:30 tonight. The sire is a black & white, but baby looked black when born, but I think she is graying as she dries off. Why do the girls not have as much color as the boys. Anyway that is the way it is at my house. Mom is very protective, first time mom. Baby is running circles around her. I have pictures but can't put them on here, if someone wants to do it for me. I know she will look alot different tomarrow.

Congrats! Maybe she will show you some spots as she matures.

Congratulations! I've always though that plainer girls were nature's protective camouflage. It happens in most species, why not horses?
