Neck question

When using the neck wraps on your minis do you shave the neck or just put it over all of the hair?

The less hair the better. Makes cleanup easier. At least for me!

I show APHA halter horses and this is my first mini.

Are you thinking winter hair... ? Cuz I wouldnt start sweating until the horse had it's first clip of the spring... so you can even see what is under the hair... and know what you are working with.

We keep the show candidates head & necked through the winter. Of course it doesn't get below freezing in our barn. I wouldn't put a neckwrap on over long hair....too much likelihood of fungus getting started.
