My mare first harnessing!!!

This is my mare Bonnie in her new harness and bit, for the very first time! Thisi s a case of "teaching old dogs new tricks" LOL as my mare is 11 this year and was never trained. She will never be a halter mare, but she has cute little action for her stubby little legs! So I am training her in performance! I am really excited. ( Yes I know shes chubby but not compared to the 350 pounds when we first got her!!!! and shes only around 30 inches!) So this is Bonnie Blue Eyes!

Good Luck! I harness trained one of my mares at 10-11 years of age, and had no problems whatsoever. (and she'd never even had a halter on until I bought her as a six year old) Time-n-patience, that is the way...no matter how young/old they are.
