I have three stallions. Comanche and Toby are almost 3 and Bobbles is 5. Commanche is the alpha.
I recently had surgery before I went into the hospital I moved their buckets from the barn to the fence so I could feed them without going in the paddock (until I recover).
Every morning and evening I gave them grain in three buckets hanging from the fence and hay in the nearby pasture. They always--always --bolt for the grain buckets then mosey over to the hay.
Last night my hubby put in the grain in the buckets and Toby walked by them and stood near the barn. This morning Toby completely ignored the grain buckets and went into the pasture for the hay.
Toby is always the last to get anything--hes the sallest and most timid. I assume he was kicked or scared by the other two. Should I move his bucket?
Any help appreciated.
