We all know that color is not the most important factor, but it is important. My color of choice is Black and White. Since I started breeding Miniatures in 2003, even using Black and White stallions, I have only produced one B/W filly from my own breeding, and that was my first or second year. Several Palomino, Buckskin, Sorrel, and Silvers, but Black and White has been very rare (for me).
FINALLY,
Saturday, 4/9/2011, my dreams come true.
Introducing:
Songcatchers My Elusive Dreams. Sired by McSperitts Rowdy Night Image (Rowdy grandson) and out of Bears Snip A Ribbon. She's going to be a bit taller than I prefer (21.5 inches at birth), but I'm not going to be trying real hard to let this one go.
