So I have 21 minis total :bgrin

We are down to 15 currently with sales pending on two more. The ones that sold got super homes.

We will see how things go, 4 mares bred for 08 and no plans currently to breed for 09.

The ones started driving all sold except the little mare we started for our grandson to drive, she's not going anywhere., and I could have sold her 3-4 times this year.

Just two to get driving this year, ground work anyway before winter.

for a total of 31 and I would like to be down by 10 for the winter.

It won't happen because market is not good in the fall in Ontario where thoughts of the frigid winter are on everyone's mind and all the winter barn work.

I don't want to drastically reduce prices but we are older and if one of us has any health problems, one person can't handle the work.

I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, "high risk for fracture" so my days are numbered dealing with animals that can injure me, which is kind of sad.

When I feel sorry for myself I just need to look around a little bit to see others with a whole lot bigger problems, so I am lucky.

That makes 34 minis. I have two "big" riding horses too.

3 2007 foals (2 of which are for sale, and one filly is a keeper)

and then we have a 2007 weanling colt coming home this weekend! woohoo!

Now that my Dad is with us, my time is more limited, I am pulled in many directions now.

Oh and raven has a 14 hand pony as well

the lower numbers really works better for me I did not have time to do all the hands on stuff I want to do with my horses daily so this is just better for us now

I own (as you already know) 21 minis & OMG!! :new_shocked: 15 full size horses!!!! (my family owns them) I have to myself- 1 AQHA chestnut mare "Peppy", 1 APHA palomino Overo mare "Sugar", 1 Arab X APHA Bay Tobiano mare "Treasure" & 1 Haflinger Gelding (palomino) lol! I love em ALL!!!!!
