The foals still don't play together--just run toward each other now and then.
Chloe has over-protective moments and thinks Mazie is a threat once in a while.
My horsewoman niece paid a visit today--and was amazed at how friendly the foals are--and that they can be touched all over, especially Mazie. Tucker is a more touch sensitive foal-still bucking at butt scratches, but he gets more willing to head our direction by leaps daily.
Here are photos from today.
At one time I had a foal under each hand--but once they got a little too close for comfort, I knew the moment would be fleeting. I lifted my camera in a hurry to get these.
My niece. (ugly background, I know--pallets for my son's bon fires this summer.
I'll edit later)
And Mark--my hubby.
with Mazie...
And Tucker...
