Lotus Major ?

I have been looking for hay in Western Wa. and saw some for sale and they say it has Lotus Major - wild afalfa in it, is this ok for minis ?

I never heard of this so I did a quicky google search and found this: It doesn't sound like anything I'd feed a horse but that's only one article.

It appears that it should be okayit is not something that we have in this part of the country so I have no personal experience with it

I've been wondering about that stuff too as I'm from Western Washington and it's cheaper than alfalfa. I've noticed a plant of it popped up in my yard, but I've never brought the stuff in. I guess a bird must have done it...
