Great ideas! Thankyou keep them coming.
The jumping in egg and spoon is great.
Musical stalls. One long pole in the middle(or however many are needed to make enough stalls) and then make stalls around the center pole in a u stall shape,by adding poles in the oppisite direction like making a box with no front, but having them side byside and back to back and one less than the number of horses. You play the music as in musical chairs, you lead the minis around the poles, but you can only move forward to a stall not back to a stall. There usually is a race for the empty stall. This was really fun, the last show we made it the parents class and it was great fun.
Extreme Obstacle. Has been different each time. We do the same course as the big horses and we are usually a little quicker than the big ones. There is at least 8-10 different obstacles and not your typical obstacles at HA or HR shows. Walking over a tarp( the big horse shy) over a foot bridge(sometimes with a jump in the middle of the bridge) trot through weaving poles. walk through 2 hanging hay net without the horses eating it (they all try for that bite)LOL. backing through hay bales in an L shape then jumpin over the bales, back up pulling a sled on the ground, pulling a plastic bag for a certain length, picking up a wind chime and putting down on the next barrel, pouring glasses of water with a pitcher and dumping it in a pail, cantering through ground poles, trotting through a box in one direction then cantering around through it in another direction with a flower box jump. opening and shutting gates. hula hoop toss over a cone and my all time favorite was golf, hitting the ball through to tires on the ground. Funny. Each horse had a one minute time limit on each obstacle before being asked to move on. The little guys were amazing they were hardly fazed by many of the things the big horses were scared to death of.
