We do the babies every 30 days until they are a year.

The older ones every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the season.

We've nice ground here and I'm wondering if I may need

to get them done more frequently here, as they seem to

be growing faster/or maybe it's that there is nothing to wear

them down.

Spring and summer would be impossible to go longer than 6 weeks.

I think I've got the record for the longest time in between. I've got a little gelding who is 7 years old and he gets his feet done twice a year. He has a perfect set of hooves. Not only that but he has NEVER had his teeth floated and the vet can't see any problems whatsoever. His bite is perfect and not a sign of any edges. He's so easy to keep.

My others all need trimming about every 4-8 weeks. I do my own, so when they need it they get it. No waiting. I only do one horse a day (only have 5 right now), so it is not a strain on my body.
