leasing a stallion

Can anyone please give me some quidelines on leasing a stallion for a few months. I have never done this. what sort of guidelines--money, health, etc. who does the stallion report. thanks for any info anyone can give me.

There are no set rules. This won't be much help, but it all depends on what you and the other party agree to. I've leased two stallions. On the one, the owner did the stallion report, on the other, I did. I paid money for the first one, the second was a free lease. In both cases, I was responsible for all of the care and bills associated with having the stallion.
