Its rayning (well not quite, lol )!
Rayne has just had sometime this morn, a beautiful little black colt (got to be happy with that ), only a few white hairs on his face, no chrome, lol........
I missed the birth, *smacks head against wall*, turned the alarm off didnt i, was soo darn tired, poor Rayne, lol.
Ray came running inside at 7am yelling "she's foaled, we got a foal"........ oh how very exciting, but after getting up throughout the night since early Nov (1st DD), i cant believe i missed this, lol.
Definitely a Jai baby, can spot them a mile away. Had vet out (lucky she was passing through) as Rayne was still hanging onto the afterbirth & very uncomfortable, but all seems ok atm.
All the other horses are stirred up, Cougar is running the fences (proud dad is hiding in his stable?!?!), Sass is all googly eyed over the baby, Hope is in awe of the little baby in with her surrogant mother, the others hooning about & then standing at the fence neighing out, lol.
