Is this normal?

Our first little filly is 3 weeks old and she is beginning to loose her hair on her face especially around her nose and under her eyes.

Is this normal or is something wrong?

Even though we've had foals before, my husband hadn't noticed this shedding situation until this year! He called me when I was at the office the other day worried that something was wrong with Sweetie's foal because of this "hair loss"
