I lost my Blue Boy...

On Sunday August 26th at 7:12pm I lost my Blue Boy. He was my first mini, my favorite mini, my everything. He was the first horse I trained to drive by myself. The first horse to come into my house. With him I showed people that papers aren't everything. Even though he was not registered and a little dwarfy we still piled on the ribbons. He was a performance power house! I showed alot of people just what you can do with a mini. He was and always will be a part of my family and he will always always be missed.

I'm so sorry, to hear of your loss. It is a huge jolt to one's heart, when we lose our beloved pets. In the past month, we have lost two 'oldies'. One 35 year old Arabian and a 16 year old dog. Your boy was beautiful and don't forget, you will see him again one day. By the way, I don't see any dwarf characteristics in him. He looked very normal to me.

So sorry to hear about your loss. He sounds like he was a wonderful boy and you obviously had a great working relationship. It's going to take quite a while to heal. I just lost my first mini last month too, and still catch myself looking for him in the now empty field.
