Yes I wanted a buckskin roan. The sire is homozygous Tobiano so there wasn’t a doubt there. He was a palomino and dam is a bay roan. Only thing I’d change is the plumbing lol. I wanted a filly 😂

Belle is definitely getting a start to her udder but a long way to go. She’s 308. A few weeks ago vs tonight.

Well apparently Rythem has decided to race Belle and currently she’s winning the race. I’m telling her to slow down a bit as she’s only 291. Belle is now 316.

Well Rythem has not slowed her pace at all. Going to be picking up some antibiotics this afternoon and upping her regumate to try to slow her down as she’s only 294. Belle is progressing quite sensibly on the other hand

I guess I should update in case anyone was following this….i started Rythem on placentitis meds as a precaution at 294. She held out 10 days and foaled early yesterday morning. Healthy TINY palomino colt who I think has a very very bright future. Belle is now 330 and taking her sweet time. Which is ok after a 10 days of 24/7 watching and worrying about Rythem. She typically goes around 345 so in theory we have a coupe

She didn't hold out for long. Those 10 days for you must of felt a lot longer. I'm glad mom and foal are doing great. He is a handsome boy. Congratulations!
