How long does it take to get DNA testing back?

I contacted the AMHA about getting kits for DNA test for my mares. They sent them to me and we sent the hair in over a month ago. How long does it usually take and will it come to me or go back to the AMHA? Sheila

Sheila, I've had it take a month or longer. However, you might contact AMHA and see if they've gotten the results back from UC Davis. Sometimes AMHA is just slow about sending the results to it's members.

: ) that they needed it and I thought it was done...silly me...AMHA sent me a "duplicate form" and I had to do it over again. Hopefully it won't take as long because someone (
