Homozygous for Tobiano

I have a question for the colour experts....I have a colt that has just been tested for the Tobiano gene and he is Homozygous. I know his sire is Homozygous for the gene and always passes the pinto colour but does the fact my boy is Homozygous mean his dam must carry a copy of the Tobiano also?

Yes, both parents must carry tobiano for offspring to be homozygous for it. Lucky you!!!
