Just wondering how the Harriston Sale went? Any great deals or interesting finds?

I bet it was a great day for everyone to reconnect!

It was a very good sale and there were some great buys!!! Prices were good for the better quality horses and the lesser quality ones sold for what you would expect. Really good turnout with lots of people there.

Lori when you say good prices for quality can you give a few examples. Seems the sales in the us prices for what appear to be good horses are very low.

1000 for a mare is VERY cheap in my opinion...... certainly a buyers market even there.

Mary you missed:

#17 Yearling filly $1300

#23 Yearling filly $2050

#25 2 yearold filly $1850

#31 2 yearold filly $2025

#36 yearling filly $1600

#51 2 yearold filly $2100

Some of the horses that sold for less than they should have were not presented in the best of condition. Some of the horses that went home with owners should have brought more than they did but that is an auction isn't it?!
