Let me know what you guys think of his color or him for that matter...just remember he's not a show horse just my cutie..my 2 1/2 year old daughter LOVES the Doodlebops (Disney Channel) and she's decided his name is Rooney (the blue d.b.) so I guess since this little guy has a blue eye...it fits!!!!

Also, in the side shot, can you see the tiny spot on his back close to his wither? I'm wondering if it's an ink spot...same thing on the other side.

Thanks!!! Songcatcher, I enjoyed your link to color genetics...loved it. Now I'm looking at 'Rooney' wondering...is he this, is he that? Do think he carries the sabino gene? His dam has roan spots, white lower lip etc. I'm still foggy on these color things. Also, can a homozygous mare and a heterozygous stallion produce a homozygous foal?
