I was reading a posting from a woman in Delaware and she was out riding this weekend when two people rode by on full sized horses with a mini and a dog following. The mini was loose and so was the dog. The mini ran up to the other group of horses passing and started checking them out and freaked out one of the horses, luckily the rider dismounted quickly and wasn't hurt. How completely ignorant to expect this mini to follow like a dog and stay with the riders without so much as a lead rope. I am always amazed by the

blankety blank.... of some people. They just rode on, no apology, just called to the mini that eventually caught up... sigh. These same people would probably never turn loose a full sized horse to follow along, guess they think the mini is a toy or something.

Same goes for the dog, anything could happen.
