Help with AMHA transfer..please

I am in the process of purchasing a new stallion that is AMHA registered. I am a member with AMHA. However, I would like to co-own this horse with a friend of mine who is not a member with AMHA. Will the registry accept both of our signatures as buyers on the transfer with only me being a member? We would like his AMHA papers to show both of us as the owners.

I co-own a mini mare with my Farm Manager and she is not a member of AMHA. There were no problems when I sent in the Registration. This was 3 years ago so best check directly with AMHA.

Be sure you give some thought as to how you word your partnership joe AND Joe means that both must sign off on everything or no paperwork will be processed. the word OR lets one or the other do it.
