I emailed the lady here in Turkey NC and told her about it. she said the donkey was fine while she had him. he is going to another home soon...

I am just so upset that I lost my babies, and was traded a very aggressive animal....

I'm so sorry your story did not have a happy ending.

In regards to the donkey, it is entirely possible that the other woman never had any problem with him. SOME animals have an abrupt change of behavior when they are moved to different surroundings. I once bought a mare that was very dominant in my herd. I remarked about it to the person I bought her from and they said she was at the BOTTOM of the pecking order in their herd. I KNOW that was not just a sales pitch. I have complete confidence in the person I bought her from. Sometimes a change in environment just changes the animal's outlook and behavior.
