Hardship registration????

I'm wondering if AMHR will hardship my gelding. I see now they have reworded their forms that you need to call the office about hardshipping. Has anyone done it recently? I have an older gelding that I would love to have my nieces show this summer as my friend and her daughter are into showing, but really can't justify buying another mini just to show when I have one that with some conditioning would be great for the kids! I didn't pay much for my mini so paying a high price to hardship I guess would be worth it if it means not having to buy a $1000 young already registered horse.

So do they still hardship? Anyone done it recently?

No they don't. They will only register horses that are already registered AMHA or ASPC, but no longer accept horses that aren't in one of those registries already.
