in the pics she is bout a day old, not completely unfolded.

as to what color she is, OH! I have no clue.

Color experts help ?

Dam is a dark chestnut, out of a gray(white), by a silver buckskin.

Sire is a Blue roan, out of a blu roan, by a gray(white)

I thought silver dapple, but the dam is a very dark chestnut, (so no silver)

so I dont know.

I'd say silver dapple too- remember, you can't see silver on a chestnut!

Nope, I'm sure her grand dam is gray, she is completely white now.

The only silver in her ped. is her grand sire on her dam's side,

who was a silver buckskin.

Her dam is in the second picture and she does not seem to have any silver.

She definatly is a silver.

You cannot see silver on a chestnut, so the chestnuts that carry silver can be just as dark as a regular chestnut, in fact about all the known chestnut silvers, I have seen where dark.

Also greys are born in a color grey is a modifier, it turns any color white in time, but they are always born silver, black, cremello, absolutely anything, so if dad is blue roan, the dam definatly carries silver, no need to test she has proven it with this foal from a black sire.

And a direct parent has to be grey to get a grey, it does not skip a generation.
