Girls in Sunsuits

The girls got body clipped and are enjoying being out of their snowsuits and into their summer sunsuits. Zena is almost 15 months and Little Zuni is nearing 8 weeks. Neither one is good about getting their photos taken, as as soon as you stoop down to take their pictures they assume it's time to come over for more attention. Thanks for letting me share my girlie girls!

Where are you located? Becuase our horses here are starting to go back into their winter woolies...

It's full out summer here in the Pacific Northwest. We're south of Seattle.

But then we don't get severe winters either.

Day time temps have been in the high 70's to mid 80's for a few weeks, now.

Night time temps are in the 50's now and I don't clip until they stay

consistently in the 50's......although a couple nights ago it was 49....

I don't want to think about winter woolies starting.........

I really like your girls! I love Zuni's face.

I know what you mean about trying to get decent pics. Ours follow me around like puppies and it is hard to get those shots. It seems to take me forever just to get one good one.

Their eyes just sparkle .....gorgeous!!!! I guess I'd better get out there in the hot humid air and start doing some clipping of my own. I have'nt clipped anyone since back in May.....Al B sharpened my blades for me and I have not had a chance to use any of them yet!!! You inspired me!!!

Thanks all! Who'd have ever thought that me, the confirmed gelding lover

would fall so totally in love with girls. Zoe and Zee are trying for a boy, again, for next year......if we miss out, then I guess I've some sweet little girlie girls.

Zena is probably about 33 - maybe 33 1/2"??? 34"?

Zuni was 22 inches at birth, with a 7 inch cannon bone an inch shorter

on both measurements, than her sister, Zena was.......

Dad is 29" - Mom is 35"

bald face with two blue eyes......

Other folks have mentioned they thought they may be, also. I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get them checked. I've asked a friend, actually the gal that clipped them, to be the bad guy and pull the hairs......

That's right up there with needles for me

Thats why I haven't done it yet.
