Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the Snowman

Was a jolly happy soul

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snowman

Is a fairytale they say

He was made of snow

But the children know

How he came to life one day

There must have been some magic

In that old silk hat they found

For when they placed it on his head

He began to dance around

Frosty the Snowman

Was alive as he could be

And the children say

He could laugh and play

Just the same as you and me

Frosty the Snowman

Knew the sun was hot that day

So he said let's run

And we'll have some fun

Now before I melt away

Down to the village

With a broomstick in his hand

Running here and there

All around the square

Saying catch me if you can

He led them down the streets of town

Right to the traffic cop

And he only paused a moment when

He heard him holler stop

Frosty the Snowman

Had to hurry on his way

But he waved goodbye

Saying don't you cry

I'll be back again some day

Thumpety thump thump

Thumpety thump thump

Look at Frosty go

Thumpety thump thump

Thumpety thump thump

Over the hills of snow

Ooooh, I am really not a Christmas person. I always kind of get the blues around Christmas for some reason. All my shopping's done but just like ever previous year, I have not wrapped anything yet and probably won't until tomorrow. Boy does wrapping presents (hate it!) bring out the scrooge in me!!!

Kelsey got spayed for Christmas and I think Bacardi's going to be gelded in just a couple of weeks so they say Merry $%&^! Christmas.

Jill, I wish I was there to wrap all your gifts! I LOVE wrapping! I get bummed to not have any gifts to wrap. If we could get together, we could be happy and watch a scary movie!

Well both of you can come to my house, its sure lonely here.

My house is dirty

and my stalls need strippin

and right about now

I'd like to strangle you with ribbon!

The laundry baskets

are again full to the top

and someone else for a change

better learn how to use the dad gum mop

The dishes piled high all over the sink

and oh my living room really does stink

someone wash the dogs and take out the trash too

oh my head is spinning round there's way too much to do!

I've got dust all

over the place

wrapping paper and tinsel everywhere

I'm a Christmas basket case

Gifts to be wrapped

and water the tree

Devin I swear if you hike your leg up again

you had better not pee

I came in from feeding

for something warm to drink

they used up all the hot chocolate

and I've only got lemonade left that's pink

Somebody save me

and give me the strenth this year

I'm contemplating getting drunk

oh where's my Christmas cheer

I'll put on a Christmas movie

something with nice Christmas music too

and roll up my sleeves and start working

instead of whinning about it here to you!

Marty Marty Marty we count on you.......the queen of christmas......now send one of those men to get you some more cocoa, slip into your holiday thong

All I want for Christmas is a Holiday thong

a Holiday thong that would be so nice

One that wouldn't itch or make me walk funny

and one that wouldn't cause lice or make me hop like a bunny

Gosh I did'nt realize it was THAT close!!! Well I'm ready! House is clean, just finished baking some more chocolate chip cookies...and nothing else to do but enjoy the prelude to the holidays! Oh maybe I'll go rent a movie!

Many years ago there was,

A star that shone so bright.

That a hundred miles is could be seen,

Hanging in the dark of night.

By faith they followed to see the king,

The star showed where he would be,

A common manger on a bed of hay,

A gift for you and me.

How do I tell you how much this means,

How do I show you the way?

The path that God has made for us,

To come home to him someday.

Each year we shop and spend and splurge,

Each year we celebrate,

That child that was born in a manger warm,

Who would guide us to a better fate.

A tree bright with twinkling lights,

Gifts piled high below,

Family and friends on their way to our house,

Making their way through the snow.

A tree topped with a shining star,

A star guided them you see,

Or perhaps your tree has an Angel,

From good tidings that were spread joyfully.

Lights and decorations,

Fill the tree with happy sites,

A sign of thankful celebration,

For the gift that was given that long ago night.

We celebrate with presents,

Like those given to the child,

With happiness we use pretty little papers,

And bows and ribbons delicately styled.

We give to friends and family,

Whom we love like he loves us,

And to strangers we have never met,

Because love crosses through the fuss.

We sing caroles so he can hear us,

With joyful noise we share,

The spirit of the season,

In the cool winter air.

The story of the child

Born that dark night,

In a manger full of animals,

And a star that shone so bright.

He made a journey to save us,

From what we were doing to ourselves,

Each year we remember it with God as Santa Claus,

And angels dressed as elves.

The spirit of Christmas is there,

In each twinkle light and wrapped up treasure,

In every turkey leg and Christmas carole,

In the love we feel for each other that goes beyond measure.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!!

My friends, my forum family. I love you all.

Stacy
