Debi one thing I never knew,

is that today I'd be sharing my tears with you~

We've been friends for quite some time,

and now your grief is part of mine.

Why me, why you,

What on earth did we ever do~

to deserve this hurt and torment inside

a million tears shed for our Beloveds' that died~

I'm thinking that Michael and David have made friends,

and they are together smiling at the Bridge's end~

David showing Michael your colored chicken eggs,

and Michael laughing as he tells David about Dan's long skinny legs~

David's so proud of his horses and goats and things,

Michael's performing for David his best comedy routines~

Michael tells of his hobbies and his go-karts and his fish,

David tells Michael that for us they can both have a wish~

So they are looking down at us smiling from above

Telling us that they can feel our strongest love,

And across the miles they want us to always stay close together,

Because our friendship is now also theirs forever and forever~

Perfect...can't find any other words...

Oh Marty, that is really a beautiful poem. I know you can feel Michael's presence now, it is coming through in your writing. Sending (((((hugs))))) your way.

So beautifully written Marty, it is good to see you slowly returning to us. Both families are in my continued thoughts and prayers.

That's truly lovely, Marty. Healing words for many.......

Ever feel that you just may have a new muse from heaven at your elbow????

Those words were beautiful and very caring and should bring comfor to both you and Debi in your times of sorrow. May God keep watch over both of you and your families.
