Flax

Ok, I promise you, I did serch the forum, but can't find what i'm looking for!

I have heard anywhere from 1 tablespoon a day up to 1/4 cup a day???

So how much flax should I be feeding??? Right now Im using the 1 tablespoon to be safe till I find out.

I give 1/4 cup whole flax to each of my miniatures.

I give 1/4 c. heat stabilized ground flax seed daily. I even give a teaspoon to the cat!!!

well, I think I can come to the conclusion that 1/4 cup is the amount to feed

I've heard from a lot of people (nutritionists included) that unless you (or your horse) consume ground flax you're not getting anything out of it; the seeds go right through you, undigested.
