For years we have used Carl Mitz to do our equine denistry. He is fantastic and has us spoiled with his abilities. Unfortionately he is in litigation in Texas where they are debating whether equine dentists need to have vet licenses. Ohio has already resolved the issue, but Texas has been in court over it for almost a year now. Carl is unable to leave the state.

So this puts me and a lot of other Northern mini breeders looking for an equine dentist to fill in. We are in Ohio - near Dayton. If any one could hook me up with a good reliable equine dentist who can and will work on miniatures, I would appreciate greatly and so would a few of my horses in need.

Thanks

I'm of the minority opinion regarding vets and dentistry :p There are several very good equine vets who work on teeth down in KY. I will only allow vets to work on my horse's medical needs, if I can't do it myself. Dr Richard Griffin down in the Louisville area is very good with minis, and has done my stud's teeth in the past.

Rick Samuels is a Spencer LeFleur Bite Specialist. His number is (814)336-8507. He is Erie way, but I know he travels abit.

I am very impressed with the advance whole horse dentistry www.advancedwholehorsedentistry.com

We just had Craig Malanowski out on Friday. this was our first horse denist we had. Katie's prev. owner did not take care of her mouth & its in very bad shape. we are taking it slow with her. He did a very good job, ( to me) he is not expense here is is # 1-724-301-7819 or 740-826-4422

this is a few pics of Katie. be fore he did any thing. the swelled side was not the bad side.
