I'm not much for reality shows, although I do enjoy Dancing With The Stars. I've heard so much about this show I just had to watch one eposode, ended up watching three. I laughed so hard I couldn't catch my breath. Also makes me grateful they don't belong to me.

Love the show, and while they may act like goofball siblings, they are actually all very well educated. Love their family values, their simplistic joys in life and the fact that they were completely willing to walk away from resigning their contract when A&E asked them to no longer mention their prayers in the episodes. They stuck to their guns, and they are back, the show is much more than how they built their multi million dollar fortune.

Love the show!!!!

Did you hear about how while Jase was in NY to be on a TV show and was staying in a posh NY hotel, that he walked in and asked the doorman where a restroom was and was escorted out as a homeless person? Jase thought it hilarious!

Too funny, never judge a book by it's cover. At least he was good natured enough to laugh it off, others would be not so becoming of themselves.

I love it too... became a fan last year when my boyfriend told me to tune in to it. It's a healthy fun show without a bunch of crap attached to it. I also love their family unit and values! It is so refreshing to see ethics and morals again!!

I LOVE it too! I think I've seen each seasons episodes more then once, some more than twice! I saw that too Robin and I could feel it to be just like he described it. I bet he did not get all huffy and belligerent at all. Jase is my favorite! him and Si...love me some Uncle Si.

I just hope the notoriety doesn't go to their heads or cause trouble within their families.. also hope that the show doesn't start to seem completely made up and staged. Right now their values shine through and they all seem so genuine.

OK so how do I put this? How about, I love them, but not what they do......When it comes to eating frogs and killing ducks like that, murdering animals right in front of me, well, I don't do well with that. When I saw them actually sit down and eat frogs for dinner, I was ready to puke. And there is nothing stupid or backward about them. They were smart enough to market their talent for duck calls. I appreciate the laughs, the rest of it, I just skip dinner time.

Totally get what your sayin Marty, but I have more respect for people that hunt their food and eat it, ESP when it is part of their culture, v/s shows that show individuals hunting a trophy buck for sport and little else.

Marty you probably wouldn't like Miss Kays squirrel stew either then

I make some really good squirrel and gravy with biscuits and on occasion stew from squirrel or rabbit. I can tell you though frog legs are GOOD!

My husband shot some squirrels a few years back and cooked them, I wanted nothing to do with it! I did take a bite, it wasn't bad, sort of tasted like chicken. I don't like duck! Will eat deer. Just don't want to be involved with the skining, although I would like to be able to tan the hides.

Anyhow, I hate leaving the farm and going to town, had to go today and get my mammogram. So I decided to stop at Walmart on my way home and pick up a few things. I went into the mens dept. and there were alot of Duck Dynasty "T" shirts, then went to the housewares dept. and HAHA there were duck dynasty throw rugs, the kind like you put at the door or in the kitchen, and I almost bought the one that had a picture of Uncle Si and said Happy, Happy, Happy!

I love frog legs. If you order them in a restaurant nowadays they are almost certainly coming from China. Try watching some youtube videos of China processing meat, fish, and poultry. YukkyPoo! Makes we want to go back to the days when we would "gig" frogs.

And while we are talking Duck Dynasty if you want a good sermon the family member named Phil Roberson has a youtube video that has gone viral this week. It is real easy to find.

Come on down off that mountain Marty! No frog legs in the freezer but I'll fix you some squirrel dumplings

We are some of the biggest fans of Duck Dynasty you will find. I own Willie's book, Phil's book, and Si's book. I own all three seasons of Duck Dynasty and a couple of t-shirts. We don't have cable so I watch the episodes the day after they air on AETV.com. Growing up, my family raised our own chicken, turkey, and cattle for the table. Bullfrogs are cannabilistic, I would have no qualms about eating froglegs, but I can honestly say I've never tried them. I've eaten rabbit, venison, goat, lamb, turkey, chicken, elk, bear, woodchuck, but I can honestly say I never had frog legs! These animals are food for something. I see that God has a purpose for all of his creatures, even if it's a dinner table! I love my horses but I cannot even say I know for sure we all have not eaten horsemeat since that scandal broke about its distribution in the states. The thought of eating horses is not a good one and I never would eat them knowingly. On National Geographic Taboo episode on food, one was on a horse farm in France. Little girl was hugging and kissing her horse and in the next scene was eating horsemeat. I guess it's all relative to your raising. Phil also goes into detail in his book how he has managed his land to make it a great habitat for all sorts of wildlife, so while they eat them, he has worked the land to give them all an opportunity to produce amply.
