Hello,

I have a small mini that I'm working on training to drive. I'm about to purchase a harness for him to work with, and I'm looking at Chimacum's "Mini Mini" harness (the one they make for under 30's with custom measurements).

I've done some searching on the boards for what harnesses and carts others use for their tinies, but they seem a bit old. Anyone have any new recommendations for carts and harnesses for minis this size?

I used my regular A size cart with a 28" gelding. He was very sturdy; had no trouble with it. Most harnesses have plenty of adjustment holes for different sizes.

If your horse has a tiny head, my biggest concern would be a well-fitting bridle. Don't settle for one that isn't. Even custom orders don't guarantee a perfect fit, so make sure you are satisified with the sizing.

Mini Express has various sizes of bits.
